The space
Roehaven is designed to make you feel warm and cosy when tucked up inside whilst also making the most of the outdoors. The interior feels light, comfortable and spacious. There is a double bed and two single futons for children or additional guests. Outside there is an enclosed kitchen cabin with double gas burner, cool-box, work surface and storage. There is a covered eating and seating area. Just 20 yards away there is an exclusive shower and toilet cabin with hot water and flushing toilet. There is a cute log-burner with wood provided to take away any evening chill. There is direct access to acres of countryside and both open air and covered spaces to chill out with a glass of something and a good book or cook on the bbq provided.
Roehaven at Little Derril is perfectly located to explore the stunning coastline and surf beaches of North Cornwall and Devon, whilst rugged Dartmoor is just 30 minutes to the east.
For keen cyclists, the National Cycle route 3 passes right by the end of the drive.
Other things to note
Roehaven is an off-grid holiday experience to shield you from the distractions of Wi-Fi etc. We provide battery lanterns and lighting which will be fully charged for your arrival . A digital radio with Bluetooth speaker is also provided. There is also constant hot water in the bathroom and outside sink and gas hob, so you won't be missing any home comforts.
We may be able to accommodate up to two additional guests in a tent or camper sharing the facility. Additional charges would apply.

“Little Derril is a comfortable and very well-equipped cottage in a peaceful location near to the coast. The owners have gone to much effort to ensure a Covid Secure environment and the barn was spotlessly and reassuringly clean. The interior is calming and uncluttered with some lovely creative touches from the owner. Two adults and an 11 year old fitted in perfectly and my daughter loved her surf-beach themed bedroom. The secluded back garden with very comfortable garden furniture was much appreciated and we enjoyed the fields around the cottage where we saw kestrel, stonechats and deer. We had a lovely sunny week at Stonechat Barn and would love to return!"
